Thinking about photography is difficult. Especially when I am thinking about a new project or a new idea. I sit around, usually feeling a bit tired, but still have a clear mind. I manage quite well not to get distracted. Time doesn’t matter in such moments. But sometimes I waver, remain undecided, waiting for something to spring me into action, a sensation or trigger, and put off that moment for a long time. I might make tea, wander around my flat and sit down again. Having time to just have time is a beautiful thing. Photography takes time. I first need to sense, see, perceive and capture the image.
